Under torrential rain, Ayrton Senna put on a great show for motorsport fans: he was the star of the GP, quickly gaining positions with wonderful overtaking maneuvers, he set the fastest lap of the race (the first of his career), and only because the race ended early, due to the terrible weather conditions, did he fail to secure first place.
