The victory that went down in Brazil’s memory
In 1991, when Ayrton Senna won the Brazilian GP and transformed Interlagos into the stage for one of the most exciting achievements of his career. At a moment that became part of a country’s collective memory.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of this immortal victory, SID presents the Miniature Replica of Ayrton Senna’s Official Helmet – 1991 Brazilian GP, in 1:2 scale. A tribute to the day Brazil stopped to watch a driver fight against his body, against the machine, and still win at home. As Ayrton himself stated years later: “It wasn’t my greatest victory, but it was the hardest. It will remain in my memory for the rest of my life.”
A miniature created with the same care as the original model
As with all the Ayrton Senna line from SID in partnership with Senna Brands, this miniature is born in the workshop with the same artisanal commitment that has defined the brand’s work for decades. First, we design each piece with extreme care. Next, the layout adapts to the shape of the helmet. After that, the paint is applied with an airbrush and, finally, the details are finished manually, step by step.
In addition to the handcrafted process, the piece incorporates elements that reinforce its historical accuracy. This 1:2 scale model features the Rheos hull, green lining, and the intentionally inverted BOSS sponsorship on the right side, a solution created so that the brand would appear correctly in the onboard camera footage.
Authenticity, tradition and colletor’s value
Authenticity also plays a central role in this release. The piece was developed in partnership between SID Special Paint and Senna Brands, and each unit has a unique seal of authenticity. In addition, the accompanying certificate acknowledges the creation of the design by Sid Mosca and the copyright ownership by Senna Brands.
It is important to note that this model does not have a serial number, as it is a non-serialized edition. Nevertheless, it bears the official SID seal, which reinforces its legitimacy as an official and collectible product.
